Under the Investment Management Agreement, DBS Asset Management (United States) Pte. Ltd., a corporation organized on June 9, 1990, acts as the Fund's Investment Manager. The Investment Manager is a wholly owned subsidiary of DBS Asset Management Limited, which is, in turn, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Development Bank of Singapore, 43.81% of the capital stock of which is owned indirectly by the Republic of Singapore through government investment holding companies. The Investment Manager is registered as an investment advisory firm under the U.S. Investment Advisors Act of 1940, as amended. Affiliates of the Investment Manager managed funds and accounts with approximately US$19.3 billion as of March 31, 2008. Portfolio Manager:
Mr. Kam Yoke Meng, CFA, has been the Fund's portfolio manager since May 2008 and is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Fund's portfolio. Yoke Meng joined DBS Asset Management Ltd., of which the Fund's Investment Manager, DBS Asset Management (United States) Pte. Ltd., is a wholly owned subsidiary, in December 2007. Prior to this, he was a Head of Equites and Deputy Head of Asian Equities at Lion Capital Management.
